The Maison Repetto , a unique artisan house in the world of luxury.

Repetto and the prestigious fragrance and cosmetics maker Interparfums have signed a 13-year long worldwide license agreement . Starting on January 1, 2012, Interparfums will create, develop and distribute the Repetto Perfumes. The first fragrance line is to be launched in 2013.

Repetto's line of products is inspired by the world of ballet's values of pureness and elegance along with an exceptional and exclusive artisan know-how, a tradition carried on in its Dordogne based workshops for 65 years which has allowed the development of the most elaborated products in the world of ballet dance.

The story of the Maison Repetto began in 1947 with Rose Repetto, mother of Roland Petit, the Opera de Paris choreographer and ballet dancer. He asked her to create ballet shoes in her, workshop located at a stone's throw from the Opera house.

The Maison Repetto was born and the brand became the reference for ballet dancers.

In 1956, Brigitte Bardot ordered the first ballerinas from Rose. They were made in the same way as the ballet shoes, using the "cousu-retourné" technique – Stitch and return method.

The whole world fell in love with them and then began the legend of Repetto.
